The new HUCK wrapping rope
The bird’s nest - standard
Unfortunately vandalism does not stop simply beacause it is a playground. HUCK has now further developed the well-known wrapping rope and applied an additional protection against cutting. For example, the wrapping rope padding the wire rings of the original Birds Nest consists of 6 x 3 shaft-roped strands, manufactured with premium polypropylene yarn with higher colour and UV durability. Eighteen metal strands now provide better resistance in order to improve the protection against cutting. Beginning with 2009 HUCK’s 1st step will be to convert its production to the new, improved wrapping rope for the production line Birds Nest. More play equipment will follow.
